Is it safe to feed my dog raw bones? WIll he choke or get them stuck? Vet Vicky Payne answers…
Q: What sort of bones are safe to feed my dog?
VICKY PAYNE replies: Most raw bones are fine, but always supervise your dog when chewing. There is a risk of breaking teeth with thick leg bones, but vomit-soft chicken carcass and rib bones are safe. Not all dogs can tolerate bones, though, so start slowly.
