Summer 2021 saw torrential rain throughout what should have been the hottest months, while this year the drought has caused problems of its own, including combine harvesters bursting into flames.
We were due to film pigeon shooting with Andy Crow, but for farmers, when the work needs to be done, it needs to be done now… duty called, so we thought we’d treat you to another Clarkson’s farm-style episode instead! It’s a busy day on the farm, with lime to be spread and rapeseed oil to be drilled. We shadow Andy as he goes about his day, explaining how the epic farm machinery works and giving us a unique insight into the lives of UK farmers as they work to feed Britain.
