Leadership change at ICSI

Simon Arbuckle has been appointed chair of the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors after three long-serving board members stood down at the organisation’s AGM on 30 March.

John Robinson, the outgoing chair, stepped down alongside fellow board members John Cullinan and Jason Rowntree. All three will continue to deliver courses for the institute, which supports the professional development of clay and game shooting coaches.

New chair’s priorities

Mr Arbuckle, head coach at Southdown Gun Club & Shooting School and known for his How to Hit instructional video series, told Sporting Gun: “I would like to thank the three outgoing members of the Council for their outstanding service and commitment over many years.

“My focus is on growing membership and expanding our range of learning opportunities. Professional development lies at the heart of the Institute, and by continually enhancing our members’ skills and expertise, we strengthen the quality of coaching they provide.”
