The new “British Shooting & Countryman Show” has found a new venue, after being dropped by the Liverpool exhibiton centre following intervention by the Mayor
The North's largest exhibition centre Event City will Host the brand new British Shooting & Countryman Show for the next three years!
A deal has been done with Event City, the North's leading exhibition centre, to host the British Shooting & Countryman Show on the following dates: 19-20 September 2020, 18-19 September 2021, and 17-18 September 2022. This is superb news in the light of the cancellation of the BSS Liverpool by the Mayor of Liverpool.
Shortly after the intervention of the Mayor of Liverpool and the loss of the Liverpool exhibition centre, several venue owners and management teams contacted the BSS head office offering their venues and services. The main problem was that the size of most of these venues were simply too small. However, one event operator really did meet all the requirements. Event City Manchester has three enormous exhibition halls, all very well suited in size and layout for the Launch of the British Shooting & Countryman show 2020.
John Allison, MD of The British Shooting Show said: "With the continued success and support from all the manufacturers that exhibit at our long standing Great British Shooting Show held each year in February at the NEC Birmingham. Our additional show in the North will again see all the finest manufacturers exhibiting along with the finest retailers, plus a massive 30 lane indoor Airgun Range, 24 practical pistols ranges, Demonstration Arenas, The Fieldsports TV Stage with live broadcast throughout the show. Everything you can think of or need from the British Shooting & Countryman Show!"
You might be asking, why launch the British Shooting & Countryman Show in September? John explains: "It becomes clearer when you understand our business ethic and the importance of providing the best possible show for our visitors. February, for the past 12 years, has seen the Great British Shooting Show go from strength to strength and is now well established at the NEC Birmingham. It's a full on Global Trade and Retail show with visitors travelling from all over the UK and Europe. Many new products are launched at the British Shooting Show, giving visitors the chance to see and handle brand new guns, rifles and accessories for the very first time. Once a new product has been launched and produced retailers will start taking stock typically towards the end of August, making September an ideal time for new products to become available for purchase by show visitors."
