Sparsholt College announces details of the first of this year’s open days
Sparsholt College is holding the first of this year’s Open Days on Saturday 4 October 2014, 10am to 3pm – the entire College will be open including the Game and Wildlife Centre (with game larder, cold store, carcass handling and butchery, bird incubation, hatching and indoor rearing facilities). The College Game and Wildlife facilities also include: a deer park with its herd of Sika deer, 25m indoor rifle range, the field clay shoot and secure gun armoury, the College Home Farm, with its incorporated wildlife zones under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, and other developing habitat areas, a Wildlife Observation Unit with constructed walkway and ancient woodland area, a fishing lake, attractive to wildlife and wetland species.
Lecturers will be available on the 4th to discuss the many Game and Wildlife courses available and current students on hand to talk about life studying at Sparsholt.
