The Browning B525 Sporter 1 is an entry-level sporting over-and-under, ideal for clay pigeon shooting, and offering great performance and reliability at an affordable price! It has all you would expect from a sporting shotgun but is just as useful in the hide or on the field as it is breaking clays at the local range. As such, it is one of the most popular Brownings currently available.
The fitting of the barrel, action and fore-end is all done using time-honoured gunsmithing techniques, such as the red ochre methods for checking the correct mating between surfaces for a perfect fit. During construction, the gun moves from one gunsmith to the next to be entirely hand finished by the team of highly skilled gunsmiths. This is the only shotgun on the market at this price level that is hand finished during production to such a high-performance level, making each shotgun truly unique.
The attention paid to detail when manufacturing and fitting every Browning B525 is unrivalled, just like that unmistakable ‘Browning feeling’ when the gun locks on closing before shooting.
The back-bored Vector Pro barrels of the Sporter 1 come in 28”, 30” and 32” and have a ventilated 10mm rib. The four Invector Plus chokes (Quarter, Half, Three-quarters and Full) will help you get the best from this multi-choke gun and give a consistent target pattern.
The tried and tested B525 action, with its selective trigger, is built to last and offers exceptional reliability. The ventilated rib will help you acquire your target naturally and easily as you shoulder the stock with its 20mm Inflex II pad.
The new Inflex 2 recoil pad ensures the gun is securely mounted and lessens the 12-bore's kick, especially with heavier loads. You can also adjust the length of pull with spacers, helping to tailor the fit for each individual.
Styling is also not compromised by the competitive price, as the Sporter One has a pistol grip stock in an oil-finished Grade Two walnut. In essence, you have reliability, function, styling and practicality, all at a very reasonable price point.
We've teamed up with the CPSA to offer you the chance to win a year's full membership to the organisation worth £70! To enter, simply fill in the form!
Episode 2 of Clay Shooter TV features a tutorial on how to shoot going away targets, and reviews of the Zoli One and B&P's Sporting & Compak fibre Green Core cartridge.
