GB Junior to shoot in Youth Olympics

Daniel Tarrant has been selected to represent Team GB in Sydney
Junior Olympic Trap shooter Daniel Tarrant has been selected to represent Team GB at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF), being held in Sydney in from 16 to 20 January 2013. Daniel, 16, is the only Olympic Trap (OT) shooter to be selected for the event and is one of 120 athletes making up the GB team.
The AYOF will see approximately 1,700 athletes aged 13-19 from 30 nations competing across 17 Olympic sports in many of the venues used to host the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Daniel, who is part of GB’s OT Junior team, has enjoyed a string of shooting successes in the run-up to this selection, which Sporting Shooter will be talking to him about in a future issue.
