What is the best material to use for building a pigeon hide?
ANDY CROW replies: There is no right or wrong answer, really. I often use local vegetation, from evergreen boughs to hazel branches. Sometimes I don’t use net at all. When I do, I tend to use a combination to ‘layer’ my hide. I have some different coloured old army camo nets – some pale, some dark. I also use a lot of the modern ‘stealth camo’ type nets.
