Carrying your gun

Is there a correct and an incorrect way to carry your gun when in its slip? Someone told me I was doing it wrong the other day, but I thought it was just a question of what is most comfortable for you?

DON BRUNT replies: This is something you see people get wrong all the time. Think about it… if your zip closure is facing the ground and the zip fails, your gun is going to fall out. At best this will result in muddy mess; at worst, a broken gun and expensive repair bill. So keep the closure end of the slip facing skwards, just to be safe.
