After an early start and arrival under the cover of darkness, the sound of honking from the pond signals we might be in or a good morning… and we’re not wrong!

As the sun comes up, the geese descend on the pond from all angles, and the only real problem is how fast Drennan can reload the gun! A cracking morning goose flight is followed by some wonderful dog work to ensure all the geese are picked and the area left tidy for the farmer.
