Phill Price reviews two Seeland wellington boots
Seeland’s range of boots is huge but two models that caught my attention were the Moor Stable and Estate. What I was looking for was a high quality boot with better grip and more support than the average shooting welly, and both boots offer this, but are constructed differently. The Estate is a conventional wellington with a 5mm neoprene lining for warmth and features a Vibram sole with excellent grip. The fit was amongst the best I’ve tried. The Moor Stable is made from neoprene and rubber, giving an even better fit. The reason for this is that, because the neoprene can stretch, it can be cut very close, yet remain comfortable. Its sole has a glass fibre shank which adds lots of stability and support. I was impressed by the comfort and quality of both, but I chose the Moor Stable for the extra comfort and support.
Moor Stable 18” £79.99, Estate Vibram 18” £109.99. Contact Simon Esnouf on 07887 997788 for your nearest dealer.
