The Avail smock is a straightforward, highly functional, but no-frills hunting smock. It is low-noise, features Seeland’s SEETEX membrane, and provides more protection around the lumbar region than a standard hunting jacket. Simply put, just what you need for hunting or cold mornings feeding the birds.
The Avail smock is made from a brushed, low-noise tricot fabric in a subdued, dark-green colour, allowing it to blend in with most of the surroundings where you typically hunt. The smock also features the windproof and waterproof SEETEX two-layer membrane, with a hydrostatic head of 10,000/10,000 mm, to keep you dry out in the field, even if you are caught in a passing heavy downpour. The smock has a two-way zip in the side for easy on and off. On the chest is a large kangaroo pocket, which is ideal for protecting your binoculars or storing walkie talkies, with handwarmer pockets behind. The hood unzips if not needed, and there are adjustments around the wrists, waist and lower hem, for a snug fit that keeps the cold out.
This is a classic shirt for shooting with optimal range of motion. The Shooting shirt is perfect for shooting in company, where classic garb is a requirement, and it also works well for everyday use. It has an action back to ensure good freedom of movement. The shirt is slightly stretchy, which makes it comfortable to wear. It features a chest pocket and adjustable cuffs.
