Brand new for 2018, the Great Shires Game Fair promises to entertain and delight with exciting demonstrations, enticing trade stands, have-a-go activities, and even a clay shooting competition to try your luck at.
Held from April 14-15 at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire, this countryside event aims to provide a platform on which countryside traditions and issues can be promoted and supported, with shooting, fieldsports, fishing and gundogs all well-catered for.
An impressive selection of guns and shooting accessories will be on offer, making it the perfect place to stock up on anything you might need to truly get stuck into the season, while enjoying a great day out in the process.
If you fancy injecting a little competitiveness into your visit, Bristol Clay Shooting will be providing a trophy competition shoot on both days of the show with open, ladies and junior categories.
Top names from the worlds of falconry, ferreting, gundog training and wildfowling worlds will be putting on a wide range of fascinating displays and demonstrations, and there’s plenty to entertain the kids on your way around too, including have-a-go stands for clay shooting, archery and air rifles; if you take a non-shooting partner or friend along, why not encourage them to “have-a-go” and see if they catch the bug!
If you are mad about food, and especially tasty game dishes (we certainly are here in the Clay Shooter office!) then head over to the Game Cookery theatre where a selection of top notch chefs and butchers will be providing mouth-watering culinary delights and demonstrating how to cook them.
BASC will be there, along with the National Gamekeepers Organisation, offering advice and guidance should you wish to pop along and have a chat.
For your chance to experience this brand new event for yourself along with a friend or partner, simply answer the question and fill out the WIN Tickets form on this page (closing date for entries is March 28th 2018)
