It’s that time of year again. The time of year that you realise the pair of boots you’ve had for the last few seasons aren’t quite as waterproof as they once were! If that’s the case, look no further. Jack Pyke, as ever, offer great quality on a budget with their Tundra boots. I’ve been testing these boots for around seven months and done a good amount of mileage in them, from pigeon shooting to beating and even walking the dog, and they are yet to disappoint.
I’ve been ankle deep in mud, and caught out in some serious downpours, but not once have I gone home with soggy socks! Made from 900D Cordura, they feature a Hydroguard membrane which is both waterproof and breathable. They also offer 200g Thinsulate insulation to keep your feet warm, and a rubber toe cover for extra durability. One of the best things about these boots, in my opinion anyway, is the weight. They are extremely lightweight at approximately 1.25kg, so you can happily rack up the miles without feeling as though your legs are about to catch fire. Available in Jack Pyke’s English Oak Camo design, they are perfect for pigeon shooters, deer stalkers and general ‘outdoorsy’ types alike.
